"It was a wonderful experience interacting with you and appreciate the way you have planned and executed the whole publication process within the agreed timelines.”Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh Pal
Welcome to "Hey You!" - the book that will have you questioning everything you thought you knew about life and the human experience in the most sarcastic way possible. It's like that book that tells you how to ask your insecurities and fears to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip! You'd feel that everything you've known so far about life is just crap. It's like a wake-up call from the universe, telling you to stop settling for mediocrity and start living your best life.
We'll dive into the deep end of life's mysteries such as "What's beyond life?" "Who am I?" and "What is the meaning of love?" (Hint: look at yourself in the mirror once before reading these). You'll learn about the desirable desires that you never knew you had, but don't worry, we won't tell you how to achieve them.
You'll navigate the treacherous waters of the judgemental world and learn how to deal with insecurities, not by building confidence but by asking them to take a one-way trip to hell. You'll discover the truth about trust, that it's not trustworthy and that's okay. You'll explore the reasons behind divorce, and learn that it's not just about incompatibility, but about realising that marriage is the main reason for divorce.
You'll also dive into the harsh realities of life, such as betrayal and abandonment, and learn how to let go, not by finding balance but by just not giving a damn. You'll also learn about the differences between men and women, and you'll discover the ethics of modern society, which let's be real, don't matter that much.
So, Hey You! if you're ready to have some fun, question everything and discover the truth about life, this book is for you. It's not your typical self-help book, it's a sarcastic and humorous take on the human experience.
Meet Lizy Celestine - the author of "Hey You!" - the book that will make you question everything you thought you knew about life, love, and the universe. She's an aerospace engineer with an MBA, a bunch of psychology certifications, and the ability to sass anyone into submission. At 29, Lizy got bored with the corporate world, retired partially, and pursued her true passion - writing and being a smartass.
As the founder of organizations teaching aviation education to prestigious universities, Lizy has seen the best and worst of the corporate world. But she got bored with it all and decided to adopt a couple of pets and live a boring life. Now she's trying to show others how to have fun. Her pets, Charlie and Cleo, helped glue this book together with their drool.
Lizy speaks fluent sarcasm and uses English, Telugu, and Malayalam to make it sound better. She's the youngest oldie you'll ever meet, and if you plan on meeting her, don't look for her office - because the office is so last century. Lizy believes understanding the human mind and behaviour is the key to understanding oneself and others. So, she's currently doing her M.Sc. in psychology because, you know, she had nothing better to do.
But don't be fooled by her credentials. She isn’t a typical author, but provides a refreshing and unique take on self-help with a heavy dose of sarcasm and humour. She doesn't sugar-coat the truth or make empty promises. If you're looking for a self-help book that will make you laugh, think, and question everything you thought you knew, written by someone who knows how to be bored and have fun with a little help from her pets, then read at your own risk.
