She was a poet, a reporter who dedicated her life to Uzbek literature. She has written poems in her native language Uzbek but after her death her poems have been translated into other international languages. In the current anthology, her poems are being translated into English language by Asror Allayarov of Kashkadarya, Uzbekistan and further in Hindi language by Dr. Shamenaz of India. In it, there are 57 poems on myriad themes.
Asror Allayarov
Asror Allayarov has worked as editor-in-chief for ‘Daryo’ and ‘Eastern World’ newspapers in Karshi city of Uzbekistan. Currently, he is working as an editor for ‘Femida’ newspaper.
His first short stories collections “A Decision” published in the USA by SBPRA in 2014. His latest short stories collections were published by Alma in Serbian in Serbia. Asror’s poems and short stories have been published in many countries including India. His creative works translated more than 30 languages.
Shamenaz
Dr. Shamenaz is a Bilingual Poet, Short story writer, Translator, Editor, Literary critic and Lecturer of English. She is Author/Editor & Translator of 45 Books including two short story collections; “Virtual Versus Real World and Other Stories” and “The Jasmine Girl & Other Stories”. She is the Founder & President of Progressive Literary & Cultural Society.
She is currently teaching English literature at Rajarshi Tandon Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Prayagraj, India. She was Visiting faculty in Fergana State University, Fergana, Uzbekistan in the month of October 2023.
