This book has been written by me based on my experience in pipeline integrity management for more than 39 years in oil and gas industry in India. I have worked in projects, construction, inspection, operation and maintenance, quality control and audit in oil and gas cross country pipeline. As a consultant in post-retirement period of 6 years, I have carried out pipeline integrity assessments of onshore and offshore pipelines together with prediction of fitness and residual life of pipelines suggesting mitigation measures. In addition, I have also trained integrity engineers.

Shri J N Agrawal is B Tech in Electrical Engineering and MBA in Marketing. He has wide experience of more than 39 years in oil and gas cross country pipelines in project management, operation and maintenance and integrity management. His areas of interests are corrosion control, cathodic protection, and integrity management. He is presently engaged in providing consultancy services in above fields. He is also conducting corrosion audit in oil and gas industry and imparting training on cathodic protection and pipeline integrity management. He is CEO of Corrsol Tech. He is ICorr certified CP Level 4, CP specialist. He has contributed many papers in national and international conferences such as CORCON, ASME and others. He has also authored books and guides on CP and Integrity Management of onshore and offshore pipelines. He has founded Association of Corrosion Professionals in 2019 and is now its President.
