Rajesh Jethwani is Civil Engineering graduate from MNIT Bhopal with MBA in Project Management. He is the elected Fellow & Chartered Engineer affiliated with “The Institution of Engineers (India)”. He is also a Ph. D Scholar of DY Patil University, Mumbai. He is an enthusiastic veteran in Airport Process Management with more than 31 years of experience in Civil Aviation Industry.
He has a vast working experience in all the disciplines of airport development including planning, design, regulations, construction, operations & management. He started his professional career as part of the first batch of engineers with AAI appointed in 1989. By virtue of his leadership qualities, positive attitude, keen learning skills & collaborative approach, he was honoured to spearhead many of prestigious Airport development projects.
Rajesh Jethwani is well versed with ICAO SARP’s, Civil Aviation Requirements promulgated by DGCA regarding aerodrome standards & licensing coupled with airport security requirement specified by BCAS. He has through command & understanding of Airport operational & passenger facilitation requirements, including land-acquisition, apart from Airport operational techniques & ORAT management. He has wide exposure to evaluate technical feasibility of the airport projects with analysis of financial-viability. He has also been associated with many other major prestigious International airport projects including Bangalore & Navi Mumbai.
He is a passionate writer and always desires to share his experience and knowledge with the young generation to guide them to success. Finally, his cherished dream comes true, as he harnessed his wide knowledge & skills acquired during his vivid industry experience of more than 31years in the Civil Aviation Industry to complete his first book titled – “Aerodrome Master Planning & Design Principles”, in June’20.
