I am widely traveled and have had a wonderful exposure to a diverse, multi-cultural environment.
Writing has been a passion since early days at school and an innate desire to express has always tugged at my heartstrings. However, the pulls and pressures of a challenging corporate life (read rat-race) ensured that corporate emails would be it so far as “writing” was concerned. I would occasionally pen down some poems, couplets; even tried my hand at some rustic sher-o-shaairi. But all that obviously was for self-consumption; Some sort of a “shadow-boxing” before the real bout.
Finally passion triumphs, like it always does and the corporate pecking order just got its marching orders. Its a humbling experience, a moment of reckoning indeed to present my first work in the erudite field of Literature. Ready for Raul?
