The book outlines concepts and processes developed by the Tata Education Excellence Program (TEEP) in collaboration with Tata Steel, in order to improve the quality of education in schools. Since 2003, this program has been successfully implemented in over sixty private and rural schools in and around Jamshedpur. All Schools can learn from their success stories.
The concepts explained in this book will also be helpful in implementing the National Education Policy 2020.
Dr. Deepali Misra
Dr. Deepali Misra, Ph.D. in History, is passionate about school education. Her 19-year stint as a teacher and administrator, gave her an insight into the efficacy of existing practices in schools. She applied the concepts of Total Quality Management with encouraging results. Subsequently, her association with Tata Business Excellence Group as a Professional Education Consultant for 10 years, helped her to fine tune the Quality practices that helped schools achieve all round excellence.
Deepali continues to associate with schools and educators as a Mentor. She is currently working to create a platform that will encourage teachers to undertake research and enhance their passion for teaching for the benefit of students. She lives in Jamshedpur with her husband Abanindra M Misra, former Chairman Tata Sponge Ltd., and former Vice President, Tata Steel.
