microbial world. The second chapters introduces microbial taxonomy. The third chapters describes the
eukaryotic cells organelles locations and its functions. The fourth chapters describes various
microscopic tools and techniques. The fifth and sixth chapters describes Bacteria and Archaea
respectively. The chaper seventh describes basic idea about conjugation, transformation,
transduction, and plasmid. The eight and ninth chapters discusses viruses and mycoplasma
respectively. The tenth chapter has a special mention on restriction enzyme, polymerase chain
reaction, southern blotting, agarose gel electrophoresis.
