Rakesh Kumar Rastogi is an entrepreneur, strategist, philanthropist and a visionary. He loves helping people to become better in their personal and professional lives. He completed his MTech from HBTI, Kanpur followed by a Diploma in Project Management from Punjabi University, Patiala. Born to a lower middle class family, Shri Rakesh Kumar Rastogi aspired to setup a business legacy.
He founded his first venture Neelam Lace Industry in the year 1984 which was a shoe lace manufacturing unit. He diversified his business in chemical and textile field. With his excellent project management skills, accurate market research and futuristic vision, he added more companies.
An entrepreneur in true sense and a great believer of team work, he established ASSA Group in 1990 and ventured into the field of Polyurethanes. Today ASSA GROUP is one of the few companies manufacturing Polyurethanes System for footwear under the Make in India initiative.
In the past, Mr. Rastogi has been an active member of FICCI. These days his energy is devoted to giving back to the society by mentoring budding entrepreneurs.
