Pompi Mazumdar
Born in a Bengali family, Pompi Mazumdar originally hails from the Cachar District, Assam, India. She grew up in a beautiful little town named Silchar, Assam. After completing her post-graduation (MBA in Human Resource Management & Marketing Management), in the year 2006, Pompi moved to the city of Bangalore, Karnataka, where she worked for various multi-national companies as a human resource professional.
Pompi is a very ambitious, self-motivated, and committed person, who thrives on the passion to create, especially through her writings in multiple languages, such as English, Hindi, and Bengali. Among her other interests in life is her intense love for art, culture, music, poetry, photography, and interior decoration. One could also consider her to be a travel junkie, with a passion for everything travel: places, regional cuisines, novel cultures, and, adventure sports.
Besides being a novelist, Pompi is a blogger for various websites including WordPress.Com, Momspresso.Com, and JobsForHer.Com, where she experiments with her writing across various genres on various subjects, topics, and styles. She is also a poet, having written over 100 poems in Hindi (in original Hindi and Roman scripts).
