Ankit Arya
Ankit Arya is a filmmaker, author and poet. Hailing from Delhi, he studied journalism and mass communication as an undergrad, which ignited his love for writing, storytelling, and film. This led to him pursuing Filmmaking at the prestigious London Film School.
Since 2014, he’s been based in Mumbai, working in the Hindi film industry mostly as a 1st AD, responsible for planning, scheduling and executing shoots so that they can be finished in a timely manner. In his own words, he has to “yell a lot” to get things done. He hopes to direct his own stories soon.
Writing has been his passion for two decades now. He loves writing screenplays, stories and poems.
He has previously released a collection of his poetry called Only For Her and is working on a sequel to that collection.
Mr. Shadow and the Night of Four Crimes is his debut novel. It is a story inspired by his love for British crime films and partially by his own experiences in London.
