Karishma Kumar
Karishma Kumar has over fifteen years of experience across a myriad of realms such as magazine journalism, creative editorial writing, scripting, literary journalism (poetry and prose), radio journalism, media arts, branding and communications.
But she has always identified as a poet, above all other roles and titles that she has upheld. With this bilingual poetic anthology consisting of Urdu nazms, ghazals and shers along with their corresponding poetic translations in English, she intends to share her love and awe for the rare art of versifying life to the rhythm of emotions, experiences and musings. Beside Urdu and English poetry, she also harbours strong proclivity for linguistics, lexography and brand strategy. She currently divides her time between writing and serving as a Brand Consultant for corporate organisations.
