C. R. Biswas, the author of this seventh book, started his career as an English lecturer and worked for about four decades in the Indian Administrative Service. On retirement, he has been engaged in teaching and writing on constitutional law, international affairs, and development administration. His book, ‘In Search of Brighter Sunshine’ (on the global refugee crisis) has been well-received. His writings have been published in Sahitya Academy Journal and National Book Trust also. In this present book, he has attempted in his usual vivid manner to analyze the Asian scenario of national aspirations, particularly from the Indian perspective.
