Dr. Samir Dey obtained his M.Sc from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, West Bengal, India in Applied Mathematics, M.Tech from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, West Bengal, India in Operations Research and Ph.D (Science) from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, West Bengal, India in the area of Operations Research. Presently he is doing as an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at JIS University, Kolkata, West Bengal; India. He has more than 14 years of teaching and about 8 years of research experience. He has published numerous research papers in reputed journals, national and international conferences. His research interest includes Operations Research and optimization techniques in engineering field.
