Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalOf Words and Whiskey is a blurry lens for the readers, hiding the flaws of chaos in a burning world. It takes you through the messed up thoughts in the mind of the author, every day, every minute, every second with the help of thirty-five poems. It’s everything, yet nothing in itself. In the end, if you find peace, you have taken your first step in the world of outcasts, troubled, depressed, emotionally unavailable, messed, lost and of all that which makes you feel lonely. Alone in a world of over-entitlement, but all together, scribbling down the varying definitions of love, romance and life, the author tries to make people feel at home with this book.
Kriti Gomber
Kriti Gomber is currently lost among the whirlwind of the worldly chaos while pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in English Studies from Christ (deemed to be University), Bengaluru, and trying to make people feel at home with her poems. Since the day she started scribbling down in the last pages of her school notebook, she has been fighting away her demons and proving her worth, to her own self. She has a strange fascination with Poe’s words and Browning’s style of writing to the point where she hoards every book of theirs to satisfy her goth-literature-loving soul. Just to make this lighter— She is desi overall and angrezi when she needs to be. Juggling with studies, assignments and a lot many other issues, she has been living through the little wrinkles and crinkles with the unending support from her parents, friends, family and everyone who reads her poems.
