Nature always appear as an enigma to me and being a product of nature too, how we all human are constantly striving to promote our superior faculty, comparing to the rest of other creatures on nature's floor and accordingly proving our mettle with distinction. I take fancy to write poems merely to translate my observations and reflections which nature produce honestly to my cerebral. I aspire that my readers would surely enjoy my poems which they will find resonating with them too.

Debasish Majumder hails from a middle-class family in Kolkata, West Bengal. His father, a retired Government official, paved the way for him to thrive with values, ethics and principles which eventually enabled him to capture the reflections he receives from nature as well the available milieu he dwells in, transcribe them to make a vivid picture and bring delight to myriad. Since his childhood, he has natured a fancy for the English language and has resorted to this language to paint his vision and uphold the voices of many who are largely ignored and unable to address their plight. His obsession for poems and writing poetry, he considered, is the only way to vent out his feelings which he derived from nature as well the ambience he is dwelling. In the book, Interlude, Prelude & Encore, he attempts to soothe the readers and triggered them to read it again and again.
