Meet Veena Pardeshi…
Veena is an up-and-coming interior designer in the city of Pune living with her
annoying younger sister Varsha, her father & her grandmother. One fine evening when

Deepti Potnis is a wife, a mother & an engineer with a master’s degree in business administraƟon.
She had worked in the IT industry for almost a decade. Her hobbies include reading, reading &
reading (with a liƩle bit of travelling thrown in). When not with her boisterous children, DeepƟ can
be found closeted in a remote corner of her terrace to escape into the world of magic. In her debut
novel, she invites us to be a part of this magical world in the backdrop of a modern India a world
where mythical creatures live among us. She has made her home in the city of dreams- Mumbai
