– P.A. RAMACHANDRAN
This book carries poetic language, authentic presentation, and accurate descriptions of several events. In it, we observe sights from almost six decades ago. Chaliyar River and its abuse come across as an ever-present undercurrent in this book. We get to read about the pollution of that river and the actions against the Gwalior Rayons who defiled the river. Many of these are things that no one has revealed in the public sphere to date. As Ramachandran was the Regional Engineer in the Pollution Control Board back then, he was well aware of these issues political and bureaucratic plots.
