Vaidehi Daptardar
Dr. Vaidehi Daptardar holds MA (Economics), MCom (Management), MBA (Finance) and Ph.D. in Economics along with PG Diploma in Higher education. She joined academics four decades ago and bagged many accolades as a teacher, researcher and an administrator.
Dr. Daptardar has been a member of the Academic Council and the Board of Studies in Economics and Faculty of Arts & Science at the University of Mumbai for more than a decade. She is a member of various national associations including Executive Committee Member of RSVP.
She has presented more than 200 papers, organised and chaired sessions and delivered numerous Key Note addresses at state, national and international conferences. She has authored twelve books on various themes in Social Sciences. Six students have been awarded Ph.D. under her supervision.
Society has appreciated her outstanding contribution by conferring on her many awards like ‘Adarsh Shikshak’, ‘Acharyottam’, ‘Thane Nagar-Ratna’, ‘Excellent Principal’ etc. Currently, she is the Principal of Adarsh College of Arts & Commerce, Badlapur and the Director of ‘Kalyan Janata Sahakari Bank’.
