Smitha Satyen
Smitha Satyen (Smitsy) born into a middle class family enjoyed her childhood ,not that there was abundance of material comforts but had enough to get through, education , inculcation of reading habit, fueling curiosity , large open spaces and friends to play run around . Nature always excited her, be it rain storm, sunny summers, winters, everything mesmerized her. She loved reading , fiction and poetry, not of any specific genre but anything that strikes her fancy . Scribble she used to but never took it seriously. Graduate in chemistry from Mumbai University , landing a job as lab chemist then getting married , setting roots up again in the east Kolkata the wheels of time spun pretty fast. Thtts when she stumbled upon her fondness for writing , using it as a medium to pour the mayhem of emotions in her daily life exploring her own potential to rearrange the 26 alphabet to paint it on paper through rhymes.
Apart from writing she claims to be an sprouting shutter bug , and loves gardening, watching life grow out of a simple tiny seed into plants blooming flowers and fruits. She loves her lonely sojourns amidst nature any time of day or night, the immense peace she experiences here is indescribable..
