Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalWhile the mind chases chaos, the soul stands bare in the midst of it, completely unpretentious! In its chase, the mind loses its identity, while the soul seeks to bring it back to reality. As I began the journey of life, led by my capricious mind and muddled in different emotions, the words of my soul brought tranquillity to this chaos. My thoughts, disguised as words and stacked for 23 years, have come back from oblivion. As I read the Rhythm of My Soul today, I see my mind face to face with my soul. Finally, my soul got what it sought, A Tranquil Mind.
Abhilipsa Bahinipati
A software engineer by profession, Abhilipsa Bahinipati, has spent the last 25 years writing poems on the different emotions of her life. A doting daughter, a loving wife and fabulous mother to twins, her passion for words and expressions have given her the impetus to play all her roles with near perfection.
Hailing from Odisha, she has won numerous accolades as a student and got the first book of her poems published in the year 1997 titled as “Gust of Wind.” Taking precious few moments from her extremely busy schedule, she pens down her emotions effortlessly into a thick printed diary which she has held close to her heart since she turned 18. She calls it the Autumn Tree of her emotions and wishes to take it along with her to her grave. Her second book, Rhythm of My Soul, is a few leaves of that tree in print.
