Elvira Fernandez
Elvira Fernandez is an educator, author and poet. Romance, fantasy and children’s literature top her list of favourite reads. She writes in both, English and Hindi. Her initial works include ‘The Ferns and Blooms Trilogy’ – a fantasy series for everyone who is a child at heart.
Her first two romance novels – Gulmohar Love and Gulmohar Valentine received a lot of appreciation and hence she was motivated to pen more romance stories. She also encourages budding poets and writers to write every month through the Pen In-sight section of her website (www.fernandezelvira.com). Her YouTube channel presents a plethora of literary delights in different genres.
Having wielded her pen for numerous national and international competitions, newsletters, anthologies and e-zines she went on to win a number of accolades. Her story is one of the top 20 stories that will feature in Ruskin Bond's next book published by Rupa Publications. She was also recently invited by Akashvani Jaipur (Prasar Bharti) to air her views on The Power of Empowered Women (in the light of G-20).
