Gurtej Singh Rai
Rai Singh Gurtej, known as RSG among his friends, is a post-graduate in mechanical engineering. Born in a defense family, he spent his earlier life in Mathura and Ambala. In 2014, he moved to Chandigarh. He is passionate about shopping and table-tennis, yet his taste for poetry came later as part of post-graduation. RSG worked for an MNC IT firm for a short period where he was unable to cope with the kind of work environment and resigned.
Silence – Shades of Aman is an articulation of RSG’s true experiences that he felt during post-graduation. An expression to the silence in words, he targets the common sense of the youth who are bound to families, social-system and go unexpressed in their lives. His present work is based on the true memories he collected in his post-graduation and tried to carve them with the beauty of words. The author has tried to pull up the fallen and hidden desires from the abyss of his soul.
