This book investigates the impact of social institutions on society. It aims to provide a complete understanding of the numerous social institutions that exist, how they operate, and how they impact individual behavior and the greater social order. The purpose of this book is to assist readers build a comprehensive understanding of the complex social structures that impact our lives by exploring social institutions from many perspectives.
We will analyze the historical and cultural circumstances in which social institutions have formed and progressed, in addition to the means in which they are preserved and challenged, across the entirety of the text. We will investigate the influence of power, inequality, and social change on the formation of social institutions, as well as the effects of these institutions on individuals and communities.
Ultimately, this book seeks to provide readers with the skills and information required to interact critically with social institutions, to comprehend how they impact our lives, and to work toward an increasingly fair and egalitarian society.

The author is a Ph. D. Research Scholar in Sociology at Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. Besides this, he is currently working as an Assistant Handicrafts Training Officer in the Government of Jammu and Kashmir. He has qualified NTA UGC-NET in Sociology and also secured an All India Rank of 104 in GATE 2022 with Sociology.
