In the midst of a horrible pandemic, a poet makes a sincere attempt to chronicle what the people of the world are feeling. Each stroke of the pen is a different feeling, a different moment in human history. The words move fast, just as history seems to be moving fast in our world right now.
It’s hard to even comprehend all the chaos in the world right now, and even harder to give some structure to it. Yet this collection of poems does exactly that. Some bring the difficulties of the pandemic to mind and others are a passionate call to action.
Just like the swirling state the world itself is in, these poems don’t try to stay in one place. The writer knows that it would be folly to try to capture everything and pen them into neat little squares. However, even when so many people are scared of talking about these feelings, an earnest attempt has been made to capture these times.
We all want these horrible events to be over with soon. The sooner, the better. But maybe there’s something to be learned about the nature of humanity from all this madness. If there is, then you’ll find that lesson hidden somewhere on these pages.
