Literature unfolds the treasure of knowledge, supremacy of creativity, and writing ability of writers and poets. Poetry is like a touchstone of intellect expressed in metaphorical language. It gives multiple connotations in meaning, representation of the theme, and introverted feelings of the poet.
The present anthology Songs of SHIVAGEETHA is a collection of sonnets; it unfolds various themes, and inner feelings of the poet on different issues and also observed that the poet explored poet's license to highlight his experiential learning. I feel anthology adds value to the literary world and the readers as well. Shivakumar U Ganachari is a prolific writer and poet, who has published a good number of poems, and scholarly articles related to academics in peer-reviewed National and international journals. He has presented more than 15 research papers at National and International conferences. He is also a member of The Society of Classical Poets, New York, and the English Language Teachers Association India. As a researcher, he has done a UGC-sponsored project in the area of ELT: Options and Challenges at undergraduate Level in Rural North Karnataka. He has also published books on Anthology on Inner Reflections Part I & II and Anthology on Experiential Learning and Conscience Expressions … He has published 5 Anthologies and a Remedial English Book. His research papers on Higher Education, the Accreditation process, and National Education Policy were published in University News.
He is working as an Associate professor of English at Soundarya Institute of Management and Science, Bengaluru. He has been teaching for the past 20 years, working in various capacities, apart from being a teacher a resource person, a researcher, and a coordinator. As a resource person, he has conducted workshops on ELT and effective classroom delivery for high school teachers and also given radio talks on various issues.
