She is Dr. Daisy Chaliha from North East , Assam.
Though medicine is her profession but writing is her passion.
From her childhood she has developed the interest in literary fields.
Initially her journey in this field of writing started at the age of 10years when she started inking her thoughts and emotions in her diary.
Her grandmother and her parents though not from literary field but they greatly encouraged her to continue this journey.
At 2018, she came to know about India's largest writing app., YourQuote app where she started writing publicly for the first time. Gradually she met many great poets and writers there and under their guidance she continued her journey.
Her first book to get published was "Shades of Past" which is a poetry book published in YourQuote app. Her parents and her grandmother were her constant supporters and her first audience and readers when she had noone to hear her out.
Her first anthology book was "Shab E Mahtaab/ शब ए महताब " where she contributed as a coauthor, has been recently published.
This book "Sunset and The Silhouette" is her 2nd book to be published which is a poetry book containing love poetries where readers can experience a mixture of feelings.
This book is dedicated to her grandmother, Mrs. Nilima Borah as a token of love for her constant support.
