Shakil Ahmed
Mr. Shakil Ahmed was born on 31st January 1969 to a respectable family at Badarpur, Assam, India. Since his boyhood, he has been engaged with social works and writing poetry. He completed his master's degree in English Literature from Assam University, Silchar, Assam. He is the chief coordinator of a reputed philanthropic organisation - 'Hitaysi', an organization working for the marginalised down trodden community. The organisation working for the promotion of Peace and harmony among the people. It also endeavours to help people to educate themselves, specially to the poor masses to whom education is a dream. It also helps the poor people to acquire professional qualifications so that they can earn their livelihood respectively and without much effort. He is also the president of an NGO namely ' Eagle: working for the settlement of poor orphan. He has established an English Medium School " Rabdan Academy'for spreading the light of Education among the poor masses of his locality. He started his professional life as an Assistant Professor of English. Right from his boyhood, he was an ardent lover of literature especially of poems. Mr Ahmed's creative World is aesthetic with philosophical aspects being pregnant with both mundane and universal perspectives from every corner of life.
