Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalStrange as it may seem, even the most obvious things aren't always so clear. Take oranges, for example - as a kid, I had no idea why we called that bright fruit orange when they always looked more yellow. The same goes for Turkey, the country, versus Turkey, the bird. You'd think it would be simple, but it took me a while.
Similarly, although I've been practicing Tantra for over 30 years and designing learning for about 20, I haven't connected the dots between the Tantric Tattvas' psychological system and popular instructional design theories until recently. It was like a lightbulb went off in my head!
That's why I'm so excited to tell you about my new Tantra Learning Framework. This instructional design method is based on the 36 Tattvas from Kashmir Shaivism. I mapped how the tattvas and five tantric systems of reality relate to classic ID models, theories, and frameworks.
The goal is for this framework to be a real game-changer in creating engaging learning experiences and shortening the time it takes to develop e-learning projects. I can't wait to see how you all put it to use!
Chaitanya Prabhu Hakkaladaddi
Chaitanya Prabhu Hakkaladaddi was Editor & Publisher of Debonair magazine for seven years before entering the world of e-learning. Almost immediately, he came across Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences Theory in an online course from Harvard Graduate School of Education. This opened up many possibilities for him in the Instructional Design space, helping him co-develop the Story Based Learning (StoBL) methodology when he was with Tata Interactive Systems (now MPS Interactive Systems) and envision many innovative learning solutions when he moved to Cognizant.
Chaitanya has developed training programs for multinational companies, schools, universities, and international organizations ranging from Qantas and Royal Mail (UK) to Pfizer and AT&T to educational consortiums catering to US School Districts.
He was a Learning Consultant in the US for companies such as Procter & Gamble, General Electric, and Caterpillar. He was also on deputation to the United Nations (UNFPA) in New York.
For the last eight years, he has been creating immersive learning solutions for Multiple Intelligences Homeschool — an institution that fosters homeschooling and guides parents interested in genuine education. During this time, he has also been homeschooling his two daughters.
Chaitanya continues to have a strong interest in the Science of Consciousness, Existentialism, Evolutionary Theories, and Tantra.
He recently published Tantra 2.0: Modern Interpretations of an Ancient Yoga, in which he combines the Science of Consciousness with Tantra Yoga. His other books are Tantra Awakening and 12 Lesson Plans, based on Multiple Intelligences Theory.
