The book is a modest attempt to find out the impact of integration of ICT on teaching of English tenses at secondary school level. It focuses on the importance of English Language, teaching of English grammar and English tenses. The book also discusses the use of ICT in Education, English Language Teaching and the Teaching of Grammar. The central chapter of the book focuses on the teaching of English tenses through ICT. It is followed by statistical analysis through z test, major findings and the scope for further research in the field of English Language Teaching.
Dnyaneshwar Babulal Shirode
Dr. Dnyaneshwar B. Shirode holds MA in English and B.Ed. qualifications from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He has been awarded Ph.D. from Symbiosis International University. He qualified SET, Maharashtra in the first attempt and is a university rank holder in B. Ed. Examination. He has completed Minor Research Project funded by Savitribai Phule Pune University. He has recently completed Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching English from English and Foreign Language University, Hyderabad.
At present he works as an Assistant Professor of English at M. U. College of Commerce, Pimpri. He is a recognized research supervisor of S. P. Pune University. He has also been working as an Oral Examiner of Cambridge English Language Assessment, a part of Cambridge University since 2007.
He is a Board of Studies Member of Humanities, Indira College of Commerce and Science and Government College of Engineering, Karad, An Autonomous Institute of Government of Maharashtra. He is an Executive Member of English Language Teachers Association of India (ELT@I), Pune Chapter and Member of Asia-Pacific Association for Computer-Assisted Language Learning (APACALL).
He has delivered 31 talks at International, National and State level conferences, seminars and workshops. He has 19 research papers to his credit and has co-authored 05 books on Technical Writing and English Language Teaching. He is a research paper reviewer of ‘The Journal of Teaching English with Technology’ (Scopus indexed) and reviewer of International Conference on Education, Training and Informatics held at Orlando, Florida, USA.
He has conducted trainings in communication skills, soft skills and English language skills in various corporate houses, management institutes and colleges.
