Prof. Nicola Sharon Ambrose is a professionally qualified MSc Nurse with a strong commitment to ignite the power, passion and pride of the healthcare profession in the hearts of the younger generation Nurses & Paramedics. Graduating from the Madras Medical College & Research Institute - College of Nursing, Chennai in 2000 , she went on to pursue and complete her post graduation in 2008 from Apollo College of Nursing , Chennai . She has served in various capacities both in the clinical & educational sectors and has an illustrious career ladder escalating to the present post of Dean cum Principal of a Nursing and Allied Health Science Institute in Bangalore. She has additional credentials of a Short term course in Cardio Vascular Healthcare, SMART Course (Skilled Monitoring And Resuscitative Therapy which includes Basic & Advanced Life Support), Course in Palliative Care under IAPC and Occupational Therapy. She is a Master trainer under INC – GFATM Project and was selected as a Monitor for this program from Karnataka state. Her career at the Madras Medical Mission, Chennai as Healthcare Coordinator inspired her to author this book which will support all level healthcare students Nurses & Paramedics in ensuring a unique delivery of quality healthcare care that will perfectly blend core knowledge and skills with professional values.
