Those Widows of Shivoham, for instance, highlights the plight of forlorn widows, perennially clad in white, and their love for the festival of colors, Holi. Destiny’s Wit showcases a laborer’s struggle to keep his ailing child alive.
The stories revolve around hit-and-run accidents, floods and the emotional trauma they evoke, feral children, animals, social media addiction, ignorance in society and the betrayal of trust, all issues that we see reflected around us. The characters have been constructed such that they seem real and relatable.

Debashri is a writer by profession, a social media and digital marketing enthusiast, amateur photographer, dreamer, observer, art lover and a jokester. She loves to explore and enhance her creative genes. Debashri holds a master’s degree in communication studies from Madras Christian College and is currently serving as lead content writer for an IT company in Noida. She has been a part of the marketing and communications vertical for several years.
Since her adolescence, she has been writing and has managed to make her hobby her career. She loves to explore places, meet people, eat and write her heart out in her blog. Her areas of interest in writing include marketing, technology, social causes, travel, food, entertainment, fashion, culture, history, language and people. Raised in north India, she has traveled to several places across the country. She loves to find out about unique things, research, click pictures, listen to music and write.
