THE RETURN PURSUIT OF A LOST LOVER

Author Name: Bikash Paul Choudhury (pen Name - Yudhajit) | Format: Paperback | Genre : Literature & Fiction | Other Details

DESCRIPTION:

This romantic story, “The Return – Pursuit of a Lost Lover” is about the life of the protagonist Binayak after he lost his lady love in a strange circumstance on a river excursion. It is the second part of the series, ‘Binayak’s Life Journey’ which can be read in continuity with the earlier part “The Uncommon Love Saga”. Yet if someone wants to treat this book as a standalone piece, he can do so.

In a way, this novel also is not a modern-day love story, where education, ambition, the right to choose one’s partner, co-education, friendship, freedom of love, and choosing one’s life-mate were the choices for a common man.

In my novel, one of the protagonists’ childhoods is spent in the village on the other side of the border, and the writer, Arundhati Ray says rules. I have tried to portray the then world that can ignore and forget the depravation of women in various forms but never forgive those who infringe on the ‘love laws’ strictly imposed.

The novel is about a constant struggle between humanity and love versus hatred and violence. It is about the beauty, yet in some way, it is about the ‘ugliness’ too – the beauty of free spirit and human love and ugliness of the destructive virtue of greed.

It is a story of losing one’s close one, yet the protagonist goes undeterred about his works irrespective of what’s in offing!

Three of his five books were best-seller number one in Amazon. in.
