Dirk Booysen was educated at Monument High School Krugersdorp, Witwatersrand Technikon (JHB), Institute of Optometry (London), Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Philadelphia), New England College of Optometry (Boston) and Aston University (Birmingham). He practices full-scope optometry in Krugersdorp and lectures part-time at the University of Johannesburg. Dirk is married to Sarah Leigh and they have two children John Leslie and Meagan. In his spare time, Dirk builds, restores and flies vintage aircraft. John Leslie Booysen was educated at Hilton College (KZN), University of Johannesburg and Witwatersrand University (JHB). He practices full-scope optometry part-time while studying medicine at the University of the Witwatersrand. In his spare time, John enjoys kite surfing and flying vintage aircraft.
