Pankaj Srivastava is a civil engineer with an Executive MBA from S. P. Jain Institute
of Management and Research. Born into a lower middle class family, he grew up in
the small town of Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh. After completing his engineering
studies in 1994, the author started his career as a junior engineer. Hard work,
dedication and the determination to achieve something great helped him climb the
rungs of the professional ladder quickly. He has led small and large teams at project
sites, and moved to the company headquarters in Mumbai as General Manager,
Operations.
His book chronicles his life journey and transformation, through a tragic accident,
from a workaholic to someone who learned to balance work and life effectively.
It distills his insights about work, health and relationships and how they can be
managed to ensure present and future happiness.
