Gold medalist for two consecutive years (1973 & 1974), the author is a banker having 38 years of experience in credit and continues as a visiting faculty on working capital finance, credit appraisal, analysis of financial statements, and Risk management in various banks across India and Universities like Bennett University, Sharda University, Noida International and Amity University, NIESBUD for more than 10 years. He has worked at Oriental Bank of commerce and made substantial changes in credit policy of the bank; keeping in view the difficulties faced by the field functionaries and framed credit risk management policy during the period 2005-08.
