Poetry is the true representation of ones feelings and perceptions. It symbolizes all the conflicts that dominate poets mind either from childhood memories or impressions laid down by the society. Every writer has an idea in the form of an event beforehand that acts as an inspiration for the fabrication of lines called poetry.
This small volume is just an attempt to knock at the door of one of the most beautiful and classical genres of literature. While writing any of the poems or quotes I have never tried to rheostat my emotions The same could very easily be acknowledged by any reader as the poems vary in from, content and subject as well.

Dr. Fasil Barkat holds a Ph.D. degree in English Literature and is currently working at the Islamic University of Science & Technology, Jammu & Kashmir. He also serves as Academic Counsellor for English at The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). At the same time, he is an editorial board member for Science PG, Science Publishing Group, New York, NY 10020 U.S.A, and reviewer for various reputed national and international journals. He is recognized and acknowledged as a Fellow of Social Science Research Council, USA.
He has been contributing to the academic world frequently by publishing research articles/papers in the leading national and international journals besides writing book chapters and newspaper articles. So far, he has authored four books, and few more are in the process of publication.
