Boniface Jeyaraj have given written expressions to their fifty golden years of Jesuitness. A casual analysis of these articles reveals their genuine gratitude to God. Each one talks about the secrets of their Call of God, God experiences, apparent disappointments, and actual achievements, all under the care of providential feathers, of course with few theological reflections.

In India, it is visibly seen that Scheduled Tribes like Sauria Paharias have been extremely isolated from the rest of the mainstream development and empowerment discourses for several decades even after 76 years of Indian Independence. But till now the rest of the issues such as cultural shock, development bottlenecks, socio-economic backwardness, and more importantly illiteracy, ignorance, isolation superstitious beliefs and inadequate awareness of the possibilities of the mainstream technology adaptation and their incompatibility to the indigenous knowledge systems of tribes do require genuine attention to get them solved collectively through the integration of themselves with the mainstream educational technology centric curriculum. But these entire collective dynamics of drawing out of a new framework have often been inhibited by the core ambitions of modern educational development and inclusive empowerment efforts of Sauria Paharias tribes in India. This book is sure to enrich those who are interested in gaining in-depth knowledge about the indigenous people of India especially the Paharias of Jharkhand.

The riddles of the soul are concerned with divine mysteries. All we should do is to close the windows and doors of our body, mind, and heart (Matthew 6:6) and allow the Spirit to join our spirit (Romans 8:16) in the depth of our being. One of the things Lord Jesus has insisted upon is the need for Discovery. The telling parable which he uttered is the ‘Hidden Treasure’ (Matthew 13:44). He also wants us to discover the Kingdom which is hidden within us (Luke 17:21).
The post-resurrection episodes are all filled with discoveries by Apostles, women disciples and others including Saint Paul the great giant of faith. The last book of the Bible ‘Revelation’ is a powerful invitation towards Discovery.
I fondly hope that this book “Discovering The Hidden” will help the readers towards an exciting discovery. All I want is that you read, reflect and rejoice.

About the Book
This research study was undertaken to understand the influence of three independent variables viz., Self-Concept, Study Attitude and Home Environment on the Academic Achievement of the Secondary School students studying in five different districts of Andhra Pradesh, India. Other extraneous variables such as locality, gender, medium, type of school and religion were taken into consideration. A questionnaire consisting of hundred questions on Self-Concept, forty questions on study attitude and hundred questions on home environment was given to a sample population of 1407 students. The findings reveal that the students belong to various levels of the above mentioned variables. Fifteen hypotheses were formulated of which statistical calculations were used to reject or accept the null hypotheses. Correlation between academic achievement and other independent variables was calculated and this was supported by linear regression analysis. In the final analysis it can be concluded that Study Attitude of the secondary school students has stronger influence on their academic achievement than their Self-Concept and Home Environment. However, it must be understood that one’s Self-Concept influences his/her academic achievement and there is reciprocal relationship between these two variables. Good Home Environment will also provide conducive atmosphere for the students to perform well academically.
