Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalIn India, it is visibly seen that Scheduled Tribes like Sauria Paharias have been extremely isolated from the rest of the mainstream development and empowerment discourses for several decades even after 76 years of Indian Independence. But till now the rest of the issues such as cultural shock, development bottlenecks, socio-economic backwardness, and more importantly illiteracy, ignorance, isolation superstitious beliefs and inadequate awareness of the possibilities of the mainstream technology adaptation and their incompatibility to the indigenous knowledge systems of tribes do require genuine attention to get them solved collectively through the integration of themselves with the mainstream educational technology centric curriculum. But these entire collective dynamics of drawing out of a new framework have often been inhibited by the core ambitions of modern educational development and inclusive empowerment efforts of Sauria Paharias tribes in India. This book is sure to enrich those who are interested in gaining in-depth knowledge about the indigenous people of India especially the Paharias of Jharkhand.
