Sarmistha Datta, Angshupriya Datta, Aritreyee Datta
Sarmistha Datta is a 63-year-old housewife. She thinks the kitchen is a wonderful place for making memories. She has seldom come across a person who did not respond to a well-prepared meal. So, for her, cooking is truly a labour of love and the time she spends in the kitchen is often the best part of her day. Her wish for all is that the recipes given in this book will make their time in the kitchen a little easier and a lot more fun. Most of her recipes are very simple. Her mom was a great cook and everybody enjoyed the food prepared by her a lot. She does not want her mom’s recipes to be lost, so she has tried to include some recipes her mom used to follow.
Angshupriya Datta acquired her culinary skills because of her love of food. She is a foodie from childhood but was not a kitchen person till marriage. When she realised that cooking can be creative and easy, her interest in cooking began to grow. She is a working woman and understands that a woman gets very little time in the kitchen in the morning. She plans ahead and keeps all her recipes easy and healthy for her family. She likes to play around with her recipes to give new twist to her food. Being a mom, she finds it satiating to cater to the palate of her child.
Aritreyee Datta has been passionate about cooking from a very young age. Being the foodie that she is and a scientist by profession, she loves experimenting with food and coming up with new recipes. Cooking helps her to unwind and relax. She has a special penchant for baking and loves to bake different kinds of cakes and cookies. Being a working individual, she understands the importance of time and swears by easy and quick recipes. She likes to entertain people with her delicacies and their appreciation has been a motivation for her to pen down this book.
