Sushant Madaan was born and raised in New Delhi, India. He graduated from Panjab University and was awarded the Erasmus Mundus- KIC Innoenergy scholarship for an M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy Systems from Eindhoven University, Netherlands, and the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. He established the first-of-its-kind aquaponic farm in North India in 2016.
