Dr. D. Surya Prabha is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Applications, Nehru Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. She pursued her Ph.D in Computer Science at Department of Computer Applications, School of Computer Science and Engineering, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. She did Post-Dcotoral Research at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore during 2020. She had teaching experience as Assistant Professor at Karpagam University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India and as Teaching Assistant at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. She has successfully developed Computational Intelligence based Automation System to assess and enhance the Banana Fruit Quality. She also developed different image enhancement, image segmentation and classifier algorithms for banana fruit maturity detection and disease diagnosis. She is the author of 13 refereed research papers.
