Pavan John Zachariah
Pavan John Zachariah is an International MUNer, blogger and medical undergraduate student of Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences. Born and bred in Kochi, he hails from a conservative Orthodox Syrian-Christian family of medical professionals. He is the Chief of Bureau of Inflame Medical Magazine (South Zone), Joint Secretary of Indian Medical Association Medical Students Network (Pondicherry) and the Vice President of FMSA (Federation of Medical Students’ Association). Having had written and directed innumerable amateur plays, he has proven his proficiency in theatricals and performing arts. Chosen as one of the top twelve artists at the age of ten from over three hundred shortlisted candidates by Dubai International Art Centre, his painting was featured in the Home Centre Calendar, auctioned and the proceeds were entirely given to the Dubai Autism Centre. Before pursuing a career in medicine, he cracked the prestigious entrance exam of NIFT and had secured a seat for B. Design in Fashion Designing. He is a recipient of the ADCB Ambition award endorsed by the United Nations and the Best Science Exhibitor award of Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre. He lives in Pondicherry and Beyond the Rouge Cloud is his debut book.
