S.K. Narang has been mainly associated with school education and was Director (In-charge), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
He has a passion for writing fiction, both in English and Hindi, and has written books on education and history too. At present he is working on the book Indian Democracy – an Uneven Path, which is on the ailing democracy in India. He has also written I am Simran, which is a novel portraying the pathetic story of a young girl and her relentless struggle against society. It will soon hit the shelves. He lives in Delhi with his wife who has been a source of great inspiration to him for over half a century.
