Aakash Shukla
Aakash Shukla is a young storyteller, poet, and painter who was born in 1992 into the Shukla lineage of a Kanyakubj Brahmin family in Uttarakhand. His life changed dramatically in June 2013 when a terrible natural disaster killed 38 members of his family, leaving him as the only surviving descendant of his lineage. In 2015, a doctor recommended creative writing to him as a cure for loneliness and mental depression, and it has now become his hobby. Akash Shukla currently resides in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh and earns his living as a door-to-door salesman in a rural area. Two of his collections of short stories and two novels have been published in the past. As this book is originally written in Hindi, there may have been some mistakes during the translation. We apologize for any errors. Readers are welcome to send their suggestions to the author via email or the Telegram app, both of which are provided in the book.
