Dr. Jayan Thomas is CEO of Cannanore Eye Hospital and Medical Centre, Kannur, Kerala, India. Interestingly he is an ophthalmologist and Ornithologist. Dr.Jayan Thomas is a member of the Corneal Society of India and Intra-ocular and Refractive Surgery Society of India. He is a recipient of the Limca Book Award in the field of ornithology for being the first person to photograph a rare bird from South Asia. This photograph adorns the wall of Kannur International Airport.
