Electronic Circuit Analysis and Design is intended as a core text in electronics for undergraduate electrical and computer engineering students. The purpose of the second edition of the book is to provide a foundation for analyzing and designing both analog and digital electronic circuits.The majority of electronic circuits today are designed as integrated circuits (ICs), in which the entire circuit is fabricated on a single piece of semiconductor material. The integrated circuit may contain over a million semiconductor devices and other elements, and may perform many complex functions. The microprocessor is an example of such a circuit. The ultimate objectives is toe understand the operation, characteristics, and limitation of these integrated circuits.Initially, discrete transistors are analyzed and designed. The complexity of the circuits studied is then increased. Eventually, the reader should be able to analyze and design the basic elements of integrated circuits, such as digital logic gates.This text is an introduction to the complex subject of electronic circuits. Therefore, more advanced material is not included. Specific technologies, such as gallium arsenide, which are used in special applications, are also not included, although reference may be made to a few specialized applications. Finally, the layout and fabrication of ICs are not covered, since these topics alone can warrant entire texts.

He has over 13 years of Teaching Experience. He completed his Master of Engineering in VLSI Design from Sona College of Technology, Salem (Affiliated to Anna University) in 2008.
Mr. Prabin Kumar Bera, received B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Utkal University and M.Tech. in Micro-electronics and VLSI Engineering from I.I.T., Kharagpur in 2010 and pursuing his PhD at NIT, Durgapur. His research interest is in the field of Analog and Digital VLSI Design, Low power Semi-conductor Device, Artificial Intelligence etc. He has more than 15 years of teaching experience.
Dr. Pavithra G. was born in Bangalore, Karnataka, India in the year 1984 & received the B.E. Degree (Bachelor of Engg.) in Electronics & Communication Engineering stream (ECE) from VTU, Belgaum, M.Tech. Degree in ECE branch with specialization in RF Communications from the Jain University in First Rank (FCD) & Gold Medal and obtained her doctorate - Ph.D. in Engineering from the prestigious Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU Belgaum) respectively. She has got a total teaching (academic), research experience of more than 15+ years in various engineering colleges in the Karnataka state. She has worked in the levels of Lecturer-Asst. Prof. (15+ yrs) in the colleges where she was a faculty in the Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engg.
Dr. T.C. Manjunath was born in Bangalore, Karnataka, India on Monday, Feb. 6, 1967 & received the B.E. Degree from R.V. College of Engg. (Bangalore Univ., Karnataka, India) in First Class, M.E. degree in Automation, Control & Robotics from the Govt.’s LD College of Engg., (Gujarat Univ., Ahmedabad) with First Rank (FCD) and Ph.D. in Systems & Control Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay). He has worked in the levels of Lecturer-Asst. Prof. (>18+ yrs), Prof. & Head (>5+ yrs), Director-Research, i/c Principal & as Full time Principal (>9+ yrs) in various institutions where he has worked so far across the country. Currently, he is working as Professor & Head of the Dept. of ECE in ‘Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering’ Bengaluru, Karnataka, since more than 6 years.
