Dr. Umamah Mufti Dr. Mohd. Asim Khan Drx. Laxmi Narayan Suthar
Dr. Umamah Mufti is a dedicated environmental scientist with a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences and over a decade of experience as an Environmental Analyst, Educator, and Project Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biosciences (Hons) from Jamia Millia Islamia, a Master’s in Environmental Sciences from the University of Delhi, and an M.Phil. from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). She has received extensive training in GIS, Remote Sensing, HPLC, and Atomic Absorbance Spectroscopy (AAS). Currently, she serves as Deputy Director at The Lakshya - A Society for Social and Environmental Development, with past roles at Alset Renewables, focusing on renewable energy and sustainability. Dr. Mufti has pursued various Postgraduate Diplomas in Environment and Sustainable Development, Urban Planning, Disaster Management, and International Environmental Law. Her ongoing research examines the mental health impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, sleep patterns, and their links to environmental and climate change factors. She has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious 10th Delhi Rattan Award 2024 for her contributions to education and environmental activism. Her research interests include sustainable development, climate change, carbon sequestration, green technology, and international environmental law, with a vision to mitigate disaster risk and promote sustainable practices.
Dr. Mohd. Asim Khan is a skilled Geotechnical Engineer and Researcher with extensive expertise in geotechnical design, ground improvement, and natural hazard analysis. He holds a Master of Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering, Soil Mechanics, and Foundation Engineering. Currently serving as Team Leader-Civil (Geotechnical Engineer) at Kuwait Oil Corporation, Dr. Khan has significant experience in slope stability analysis, mechanized tunneling, and laboratory geotechnical testing. Proficient in advanced tools like PLAXIS, MIDAS, FLAC-3D, AutoCAD, and GIS software, Mr. Laxmi Narayan Suthar (DRx) is a qualified NET JRF (National Eligibility Test – Junior Research Fellowship) holder in chemistry and a research scholar at Bikaner Technical University (BTU), Bikaner, where his research focuses on wastewater treatment, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to environmental chemistry.
