Brought up in a lower-middle class family, the author lived most of his childhood in a village in Kerala. Thereafter, he shifted to a small township where his father worked as a factory employee.
At school, he was the School leader as well as the House leader, a good sportsman and a prize-winning athlete, who also played football in district ‘A’ division League matches.
Interested in politics, he was the unit secretary and city committee member of a leftist student union, and was later elected as the Polytechnic Union Councilor, and Vice Chairman of the all Kerala Polytechnic union council.
After completing his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, the author joined the Indian Navy as an Engine Room artificer. He qualified to become a Commissioned Officer, coming first in the exam, and cleared SSB from Bhopal, but later, his Commission was rejected on medical grounds, stating substandard hearing of the right ear, for which, years later, his left ear was operated in a military hospital!
An avid reader of prose, he started writing during his college days with no intention of publishing his work, and thus, those writings were fortunately lost, relieving the prospective readers from a major trouble.
After his tenure in the Navy, he joined a shipping company as a Technical Superintendent, and after completing his MBA in International Business he joined an Export Company as a Senior Technical Manager, to take care of their vessels.
He has travelled extensively to most of the places in India, and a few nearby foreign countries.
The author, based in Chennai, has been married to a lovely lady for the past nineteen years, and has a son who is eighteen years old.
Everything else about his life is there in the book. Anything he missed out will be there in the next book!
