Mayank Barman
Born and raised in Gorakhpur (U.P.), India, Mayank was drawn to writing at an early age. Whenever he closed his eyes, he found himself in a world of fantasy and would rush to wake up and scribble it all down in his diary before he could forget any of its minute details. He started his poetry account on Instagram (@viralvirus_official) to express his thoughts in the form of poetry. His poems majorly depict various emotions in their raw form. He loves reading fantasy novels, watching movies and anime in his free time. He draws inspiration from the legendary poet, Robert Frost, whose poem, The Road Not Taken, touched him deeply. He is currently pursuing a few short-term creative writing courses to polish his creative writing skills, which would be helpful in his path to become a full-fledged writer.
