Dr. Surbhi K. Tyagi, Dr. Vivak Malik
Dr. Surbhi K. Tyagi, the author of the book 'General Veterinary Surgery', has a strong academic background in her high school and higher secondary studies, followed by BVSC and AH from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Science and Technology-Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir). She received the Best Student award at IVRI for both her Master's and Ph.D. degrees, along with a gold medal. Her Ph.D. thesis was recognized with the prestigious Dr. C.M. Singh Award. From 2011 to 2018, she served as an Assistant Professor of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology at Vanbandhu Veterinary College, Navsari Agricultural University in Gujarat. Since 2018, she has continued as an Assistant Professor of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, SVPUAT in Meerut. Dr. Tyagi has published 40 research papers in international and national journals and has also authored several practical manuals and training materials. Additionally, she is the recipient of many prestigious awards from various professional societies.
Dr. Vivak Malik graduated from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology and obtained his MVSc and PhD degrees in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology from DUVASU, Mathura, and Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, respectively. He joined as an Assistant Professor at DUVASU, Mathura in 2009 and is presently working as an Associate Professor and Officer In-Charge in the Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut. Dr. Malik has published over 90 research papers in national and international journals and has presented more than 40 papers in various symposia and conferences. He has successfully run a national-level project, AINP-DIMSCA, funded by ICAR. Additionally, he is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Best Paper Presentation Award, Best Poster Presentation Award, Young Scientist Award, Appreciation Award, and Prof. S.J. Angelo Memorial National Young Scientist Award from distinguished organizations.
